UI - National scheduling system, scheduling system for hospitals
The challenge: Specification of a hospital appointment system and a national appointment system, including a personal area for patients. The biggest challenge in the project is understanding patients' needs and providing a friendly solution for patients interested in booking appointments. This is a system that on the one hand is complex in terms of the data and the systems integrated into it, while on the other hand, it is very important to provide a friendly and intuitive solution for users.
The solution that was implemented: In the first stage, a pilot was prepared for a specific hospital: thorough research was conducted to understand the needs of the users, during which the UI team actually went to the call center and spent time entering the requests in order to study the needs and questions that arise during the reservation process.
After understanding the needs, a UX map was built on the basis of which a conceptual concept was created. Later on, we built a wireframe and an interactive prototype - a working system. Finally, a functional specification document was prepared.
The UI team is currently in the specification process of an advanced national appointment system, including a personal area with the possibility of reserving and canceling appointments, etc.
